RED AID & COVID-19
Red Aid is concerned about the current COVID-19 pandemic and is monitoring the situation closely. We are particularly concerned about the risk of the outbreak spreading to vulnerable, marginalized communities who are also the communities we work with. Red Aid is doing everything in its capacity to reduce their burden and support them in coping with the effects of COVID-19.

The Problem
Fighting neglected tropical diseases and their consequences
Neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) are a group of parasitic and bacterial infectious diseases that affect more than 1.7 billion of the world’s most impoverished people, including more than 1 billion children. India, the second most populous country in the world, accounting for nearly one-fifth of the global population, is also home to the world’s largest absolute burden of at least 11 major neglected tropical diseases (NTDs)
